This Sunday, Rev. Dee’s sermon message is titled, “Just Us” as we reflect on lamenting and on hope. The Scripture readings will be Micah 3:5-12 and 6:6-8. We hope you can attend in person. If not, the service recording is typically posted to Facebook later in the day. /p>
Are you getting the itch to plant a garden yet? This is crazy weather for February but feels pretty good for those of us who like warmth. Don’t worry, I am sure there will be a couple more cold blasts to make the rest of you smile! Gotta share the love!
Coming Events:
• Friday, Feb 14 – Valentine’s Day
• Wednesday, Feb. 18 – Ash Wednesday Service @ 7 PM
Blessing Box:
Please make sure your donation won’t freeze in winter weather (it WILL get cold again). Our Outreach Board and volunteers who keep the box filled, try to monitor this so nothing bursts inside the box from freezing. Right now – hats, gloves and socks are a great thing for someone to find in the box – as well as canned goods and boxed foods. Thanks for your continued support of this mission! Feel Blessed!
Susan’s Gift:
We continue with “Susan’s Gift” to collect scarves, hats and mittens for the Blessing Box and the Rescue Mission.
Women’s Fellowship continues to collect Best Choice labels. Clip the labels and drop them in the can located on the kitchen counter in Fellowship Hall.
Meals on Wheels:
Adults can eat lunch at the ELM Building Mon-Fri for a small charge of $4 for those 60+ and $8.00 for those under 60. Please call a day ahead by 11 a.m. to reserve your spot at 785-893-1107. There is usually a copy of the menu at the front of the sanctuary.

Some quotes to put a smile on your face:
“Without Valentine’s Dat, February would be … well, January!”
“You’re my everything … including my emergency contact.”
“I only have fries for you.”
“Love is in the air … or is that just the smell of chocolate?”
“You’re the cheese to my macaroni and the laughter to my days.”
“Take care of him. And make him feel important. And if you can do that, you’ll have a happy and wonderful marriage … like 2 out of every 10 couples.”
“I love being married. It’s so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.”
Happy Valentine’s Day! Share the love.
Peace,
Linda
